What is GEPEA Endorsement for Certification Bodies?

GEPEA offers endorsement and accreditation schemes for certification bodies (CBs) to confirm they are competent to assess and certify educational institutions, training providers, and assessment programs against recognized international standards. GEPEA accreditation is a voluntary but powerful way to show your credibility in the education and assessment sector.

How to Become Endorsed by GEPEA

  1. Application Submission – Send in your completed application form along with required documentation about your organization, scope, and certifications or assessments you intend to offer.
  2. Document Review – GEPEA reviews your policies, procedures, and systems to ensure they meet our endorsement standards.
  3. Evaluation & Assessment – This may include interviews, evidence inspection, possibly site visits or remote evaluations depending on your scope.
  4. Corrective Actions (if needed) – If there are gaps, GEPEA will outline areas for improvement. You’re given the chance to address them.
  5. Decision & Endorsement Issued – Once you meet all criteria, GEPEA grants endorsement, provides the certificate, and you may begin using the GEPEA mark in accordance with our usage guidelines.
  6. Ongoing Surveillance & Renewal – Endorsed CBs are monitored to maintain standards, and full reassessment is required at regular intervals for renewal.
